lateral rofile of Eulagynodes specimen

We study the evolution, taxonomy, and morphology of parasitic Hymenoptera, especially wasps classified in Ceraphronoidea and Evanioidea. Several ongoing projects also focus on improving the descriptive taxonomy process, through the use of ontologies and related approaches.

We’re also interested in projects grounded in natural history collections, including curation experiments, biodiversity informatics, digitization, niche modeling, and revisionary taxonomy. See the Frost Entomological Museum Curators’ blog for more information about our activities in the collection.
